As I was checking out the latest happenings on the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) website, I came across a few wonderful things. As of today, the CFDA, in collaboration with Vogue, has launched the Fashion For Sandy Relief online auction. To benefit victims and areas devastated by the storm, amazing packages have been put together to bid on. In addition, the CFDA has listed all the fashion designers, stores, and brands who are putting effort towards providing aid to organizations on behalf of Hurricane Sandy. I decided to repost the list, in addition to the auction packages in order to pay homage to the CFDA as well as thanks to them in addition to the rest of the fashion community, who has jumped to lend a charitable hand.
